Four minimums can apply to one account
A casino may accept a small payment while a particular promotion requires a larger one. The games also have their own stake limits, and the cashier can set a separate minimum withdrawal. A single number headed “minimum deposit” does not describe all four.
Consider an illustrative account with a C$10 payment minimum, a C$30 welcome-bonus threshold, a C$0.20 minimum spin and a C$20 withdrawal minimum. Depositing C$10 could fund ordinary play without activating that welcome offer. These example figures describe the relationship, not an available casino listing.
- Payment minimum: smallest transfer through the selected method.
- Bonus threshold: qualifying amount for the chosen promotion.
- Game minimum: smallest stake for the selected game or table.
- Withdrawal minimum: smallest eligible transfer out of the account.
Confirm that the quoted amount is Canadian dollars
C$5, US$5 and €5 are different amounts. A dollar sign alone does not identify the account currency. A method advertised on a Canadian-facing page can also fund a balance held in another currency.
For a fictional transfer with a 2% conversion charge, C$10 would leave C$9.80 before any separate fee or rate difference. If the receiving account requires C$10 equivalent, that transfer would fall short. Compare the amount charged, currency conversion and amount credited together.
Compare each method’s own deposit and withdrawal route
Interac, a card, an e-wallet and cryptocurrency can have different minimums at the same casino. A card deposit does not establish that the same card can receive withdrawals. The relevant comparison uses the method’s deposit conditions and its available return route.
Cryptocurrency minimums are expressed in a specific asset and network. Their CAD equivalent changes with the exchange rate, while network charges follow a separate calculation. A small numerical coin amount is therefore not enough to call a method a C$5 option.
Slotland and Winaday illustrate the difference between a payment minimum and a promotion threshold: their account transactions are in USD, their welcome threshold is US$25, and their card-deposit minimum is US$45. Those figures describe different conditions and should retain their USD currency when compared with a planned CAD transfer.
Connect the deposit to the game’s minimum stake
With a fictional C$10 starting balance and a C$0.20 stake, the balance equals fifty opening stakes. At C$1 per round, it equals ten. Those divisions illustrate scale only: wins and losses change the balance, so they do not predict the number of rounds a session will last.
A live table can have a higher minimum than a slot, and side bets add to the amount committed in a round. Choose the format and stake before comparing the payment minimum. This keeps a small-deposit comparison connected to the way the account will actually be used.
Build a comparison around the same transfer amount
Set a single planned CAD amount and list the available method, credited currency, payment minimum, bonus threshold and minimum withdrawal for each option. Add fixed fees separately: a C$1 charge is 10% of a C$10 transfer but 5% of a C$20 transfer.
The payment-method directory and Interac guide explain the transfer routes. Casino reviews connect those routes with games and account limits. Use the bonus directory only when you also want to compare promotions; a payment minimum by itself does not require a bonus.
