Choose a starting point for roulette

Casino Classic includes roulette in its live casino range alongside blackjack and baccarat. Our Casino Classic review explains the wider casino account; the individual table information supplies its wheel, limits and payout schedule.

Everygame Casino Red describes a European wheel with 37 pockets and an American wheel with 38. Its software format offers a direct comparison between the two layouts. Our Everygame Casino Red review covers the SpinLogic library and browser presentation.

RocketPlay combines table games and live casino with other casino and sports sections. Our RocketPlay review describes that wider mix. The full roulette variant name identifies the particular wheel and feature rules within the game catalogue.

A single zero and a double zero change the wheel

A single-zero wheel has numbers 1 through 36 plus 0: 37 pockets. A double-zero wheel adds 00 for a total of 38. Both can use familiar red/black, odd/even and high/low betting areas, which is why the extra pocket is easy to overlook when browsing by table design.

Our single-zero and double-zero guide explains the probability difference. For a straight-up bet on one number, a fair single-zero wheel gives that number one pocket out of 37; the double-zero version gives it one out of 38. The table's payout schedule is a separate part of the comparison.

Read the chip position and the total layout

A chip placed inside one numbered square is a straight-up bet. A chip across the boundary between two numbers is a split; at the shared corner of four numbers it is a corner bet. The betting layout translates those positions into different sets of covered numbers.

Outside bets cover larger groups, such as a dozen, column or red/black. Placing several chips adds their stakes together. Six C$1 chips make a C$6 layout for that spin, even if the selected chip denomination still reads C$1. Confirm both the highlighted coverage and total stake before the round closes.

Our guide to playing roulette walks through the betting areas and a round from placing chips to settlement. Use it to connect the names on a table’s payout panel with the positions on the layout.

Live, automated and software roulette

A live dealer table shows a person hosting the wheel and taking the round through its stages. An automated roulette stream can show a physical wheel with an automatic mechanism. A software game presents a digital wheel and normally lets you initiate each spin yourself.

Compare the pace, language and layout you prefer. On a phone, the betting grid may expand over the video, so look at how easily you can switch between wheel, layout and rules. Saved or repeated layouts are convenience features; read their total stake before applying them.

French rules and multiplier rules deserve their own line

A French-language stream and French roulette rules describe different things. Where a table explicitly offers La Partage, an even-money bet loses half its stake when the ball lands on zero. The rule belongs to the selected game and qualifying bets; it is not implied by a French menu.

Multiplier roulette can use a different base payout or a separate feature structure. Compare the complete payout table rather than assuming every straight-up win follows the classic schedule. Keep the wheel format, standard payouts and added feature rules in separate lines of your notes.

Turn the comparison into a short list

The reviews above distinguish Casino Classic's live roulette, Everygame Casino Red's stated European and American software variants, and RocketPlay's mixed casino-and-sports product. Wheel type, main stake range and presentation provide the common comparison criteria.

Our live casino comparison explains the surrounding table environment. For the wider account choice, use the full operator reviews and our payment comparison. A useful roulette shortlist identifies a particular format and rule set, so you can recognise the same game when you return.
